How The Program relieves stress
Many people have theories about the root causes of stress, and their "expert advice" on how to fix it. I have a non-theoretical and practical (it works on me every time, it may work for you) approach. Two-words....intense exercise. When I feel nervous or worried, a workout until my muscle stops functioning relieves any tensions to the point of not remembering why I was so nervous in the first place. However, for some reason, doing gripping exercises until muscle failure sends a shot of blood straight to my brain and gives me an intense feeling overcoming any prior feeling that I had.
Stress in many cases is caused in the workplace or as a direct result of the workplace. Therefore, the simplest and easiest exercise to perform is hand exercises. And these can be done sitting in front of your computer. It's as easy as:
1) Going to Wal-Mart and buying a pair of grippers (~$6.00)
2) Gripping them unconsciously (without counting) several times throughout the day
And the result is:
1) Stronger arms and hands
2) A handshake with authority
3) Tension release at an unmatched level while sitting in your office
